Introduction to Design Thinking for Sustainable Social Enterprise: Edinburgh
Workshop delivered by DesignThinkers Group
This high energy, one day workshop is designed for those interested in learning more about Design Thinking for Sustainable Social Enterprise.
Design Thinking is a human-focused, prototype-driven, innovative design process which has been adopted by leading brands such as Apple, Google, Samsung, and GE.
The overall goal of the workshop is to help you design better products, services, processes, strategies, spaces, and experiences. In short, Design Thinking helps you and your team develop practical and innovative solutions for your problems.
Participants will be introduced to the free toolkit which is being developed for open-source sharing and you should leave at the end of the day with a general understanding of the principles of Design Thinking, its terminology, and key tools.
The workshop format will be interactive and the focus will be on 'learning by doing'. We'll introduce Design Thinking and Service Design tools and practice using them via our 'Think Like A Startup Canvas and Game’.
